Virtual & In-Person Art & Adventure Camp
Art & Adventure Camp is a unique and innovative specialty art camp, designed by Leyla Demirtas. Young Artists have in-person experiences in the Museums, Galleries, and Parks on the UWS/UES.
Each week is filled with relaxing Safe SD adventures throughout:
•Central and Riverside Park viewing the statues, monuments, and ponds & wildlife--- learning their history.
•The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Guggenheim, The NY Historical Society, The Museum of Natural History, The Museum of Art & Design, The Frick, The Central Park Zoo, and more!
Each week/day Young Artists also:
•Create and make projects through Art-Centered themes.
•Create “En Plein Air” in the beautiful NYC parks learning how to paint, draw, sculpt, collage the wildlife, landscapes, & cityscapes.
Art & Adventure Camp is open to MATURE 7-to-15-year old's, who MUST have a love of: art museums, drawing, painting and learning about the visual arts & its history!
*Important: Wearing masks and understanding what SD is a must!
For safety no more than 6 children per session allowed, so space is limited.
Fee: The price per week is $625
Time- 10:00 to 3:00
Dates: Session 1--- July: 5-9, 12-16 Session 2--- July: 19-23, 26-30 Session 3--- August: 2-6, 9-13
*Students will supply their own: Lunch & Art materials (sketch pads, oil pastels, watercolor paints/brushes, pencils, eraser, sharpener, etc. Complete list once signed up. For more information contact: thebestartteacher@gmail.com
